What We Do
Tuition at Groove Studio
At Groove Studio, we don’t just teach music – we live it, breathe it, and groove with it. Whether you’re picking up your first instrument or levelling up your sound, we offer fun, high-quality tuition in guitar, drums, bass, vocals, piano, DJ-ing, producing, and music theory. Our doors are open to all ages and all skill levels, because we believe music is for everyone.
Lessons are available one-on-one or in small groups, always tailored to you. Our teaching style is friendly, fun, and totally student-led, designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and make learning music something you genuinely look forward to. At Groove Studio, we keep it real, keep it joyful — and most of all, we keep it groovy.

Meet the Team

Samuel
Director & Tutor
Music and performance have been at the heart of my journey from the very beginning. Starting out in the West End at just six years old, I went on to train in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational School, Tring Park, and Bird College of Performing Arts, graduating with a diploma in Musical Theatre.
With over 15 years of teaching experience across vocals and a variety of instruments, I have taught at several prestigious institutions before founding Groove Studio. As Director, I lead the studio with a passion for creating a welcoming space where students can learn, grow, and find joy in music.
Whether working with aspiring performers or complete beginners, I bring a wealth of experience and a supportive teaching style, helping every student build confidence and discover their own unique sound.

George
Tutor
George brings over 15 years of experience on stage and in the studio, performing across a wide range of genres with different artists and bands. With a degree in music and years spent as both a learner and tutor with various institutions, he knows how to connect with students at every level.
At Groove Studio, George is all about making lessons fun, flexible, and inspiring. Whether you’re learning your favourite songs, writing your own riffs, or just want to jam, he’ll help you find your groove.
While George’s personal playlist leans toward 90s rock legends like Soundgarden, Deftones, Tool, Korn, and Nirvana, he’s skilled at teaching many styles—so whatever sound you’re chasing, he’s got you covered.

Toby
Tutor
Toby has been hooked on music since picking up a guitar at just five years old. By the age of nine he was already writing songs, and nearly two decades later he’s toured across the UK and Europe, appeared on live TV, and built a YouTube presence with almost nine million views.
A graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music with a distinction in guitar performance, Toby brings both skill and passion to every lesson. His teaching style is friendly, relaxed, and all about sparking inspiration—helping students discover their own voice, whether that’s through singing, guitar, or songwriting.
At Groove Studio, Toby loves guiding players on their musical journey, whether they’re chasing the thrill of performing, writing original tracks, or just enjoying the process of making music.
